CNC Cabinetry: Door Styles, Collections and Finish Guide
CNC Cabinetry builds four cabinet collections, and the one you pick decides more than the door profile. Luxor, Country and Concord are face-frame lines. Classic is frameless. That single difference changes the box, the drawer, the hinge and the amount of usable space behind the door.
We stock 123 CNC listings in Wayne, New Jersey: 12 door styles covering 118 distinct door and finish combinations, plus the three Alvic decorative panel lines. This guide lists every one of them with its factory finish code, and explains the construction behind each collection so you can read a CNC quote properly. Who makes CNC Cabinetry
CNC Cabinetry Inc. is a family-owned manufacturer at 101 Kentile Road, South Plainfield, New Jersey. The company started in the founder’s parents’ garage and has run for about 30 years. It began with five cabinet door selections and now publishes more than 125 styles and colors. CNC sells through authorized dealers rather than direct to homeowners, which is why warranty claims and replacement parts route through the dealer who sold the kitchen.
The four collections at a glance
| Collection | Box construction (CNC wording) | Doors in the line | Doors we stock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxor | Partial-overlay plywood cabinet with dovetail drawer boxes, a slab drawer front and soft-close under-mount glides | Luxor, Glencove | Luxor |
| Country | Face-frame plywood box with a solid hardwood frame | Country Oak, Dover | Country Oak |
| Concord | Full-overlay plywood cabinet with solid wood dovetail drawer boxes, a five-piece drawer front and soft-close under-mount glides | Richmond, Park Ave, Fashion, Elegant, Newport, Sydney | All six |
| Classic | Frameless box construction with full-extension metal drawers, under-mount drawer glides and a soft-close feature | Broadway, Versailles, Highland, Milano, Woodbourne, Alvic | Broadway, Versailles, Highland, Milano, Alvic |
Two lines sit outside what we carry. Glencove is the full-overlay shaker in the Luxor collection, Dover is the painted shaker in the Country collection, and Woodbourne is a 17-finish frameless shaker in the Classic collection. If you want one of those, ask us and we will quote it against what we stock.
Framed or frameless, and what actually changes
CNC publishes a separate box specification for each door. Reading them side by side is the fastest way to see where the money goes.
| Spec | Luxor | Country (Dover) | Concord | Classic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Back | 1/2 in plywood, dado joints stapled into the sides, screwed top and bottom | 1/4 in substrate with a 3 in plywood support frame, stapled and screwed | Full 1/2 in plywood back with 3 in hanging rails in a dado groove, exterior finished | 3/4 in back panel with 3/4 in by 4 in braces top and bottom, wood dowels glued and clamped (1/4 in panel on Versailles) |
| Side panels | 1/2 in plywood, light maple woodgrain laminate interior, matching exterior | 1/2 in plywood, light maple woodgrain interior, matching painted exterior | 1/2 in plywood with a natural wood-finish veneer interior; 1/4 in applied finished ends on the Plus line | 3/4 in plywood sides, wood dowels glued and clamped |
| Face frame | 3/4 in thick, 1 1/2 in wide kiln-dried hardwood, glue and nails under clamp pressure | 3/4 in kiln-dried solid hardwood, glue and nails under pressure | 3/4 in thick, 1 1/2 in wide kiln-dried hardwood in a dado interlocking system | None. The Classic box has no face frame |
| Hinges | Heavy-duty steel concealed adjustable, soft close | Concealed soft-close, six-way adjustable | Six-way soft close on the base line, BLUM soft close on the Plus line | Heavy-duty steel concealed six-way adjustable clip-on, soft close |
| Shelves | 3/4 in plywood, fully adjustable | 3/4 in plywood, fully adjustable | 3/4 in plywood, fully adjustable | 3/4 in full-depth plywood, fully adjustable |
| Toe kick | 4 1/2 in with a 3 in inset | 4 1/2 in with a 3 in inset | 4 1/2 in with a 2 1/2 in inset | 4 1/2 in with a 3 in inset (4 in on Versailles), white toe kick standard |
Classic boxes also come in two interiors, White Satin or Maple Finish, and 36 in and 42 in wall cabinets in the Luxor line take a third hinge.
What the CNC Plus program changes
Six of the doors we stock run a second line that CNC marks with a plus sign: Richmond+, Fashion+, Elegant+, Newport+, Sydney+ and Versailles+. The finish codes 101 through 110 and 200 through 202 belong to that program. Three things change when a quote moves from the base line to the Plus line.
- Hinges move from six-way soft close adjustable hinges to BLUM soft close adjustable hinges.
- Side panels move from 1/2 in plywood with a natural wood-finish veneer interior to 1/4 in applied finished ends.
- The finish range opens up. The base line carries two to four factory colors; the Plus codes add ten paints plus the Ale, Bourbon and Wheat stains on the doors that offer them.
If a dealer quote lists a 100-series code, you are being quoted the Plus line. If it lists RB10, FB27, EB02 or SB10, you are on the base line. Codes are the only reliable way to tell, because the color names repeat across both.
Every CNC door style we stock
| Door | Collection | Overlay | Door profile | Finishes at CNC | Finishes we stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luxor | Luxor | Partial overlay, 1/2 in reveal | 2 1/2 in wide shaker | 5 | 5 |
| Country Oak | Country | Standard reveal | Raised panel, solid oak | 1 | 1 |
| Richmond | Concord | Full overlay | 3 in wide mitered flat panel | 12 | 12 |
| Park Ave | Concord | Full overlay | Five-piece mitered raised panel | 2 | 2 |
| Fashion | Concord | Full overlay | 3 in wide step shaker | 12 | 12 |
| Elegant | Concord | Full overlay | 3 in wide shaker | 14 | 13 |
| Newport | Concord | Full overlay | Slim shaker, 3/4 in birch frame | 14 | 13 |
| Sydney | Concord | Full overlay | 3 in wide French miter | 14 | 13 |
| Broadway | Classic | Frameless | Textured laminate slab | 12 | 11 |
| Versailles | Classic | Frameless | Slim shaker, 3/4 in birch frame | 14 | 13 |
| Highland | Classic | Frameless | Reverse slim shaker, 3/4 in recessed frame | 11 | 11 |
| Milano | Classic | Frameless | PET slab | 12 | 12 |
CNC also sorts its line by material, and the four options are birch, oak, low-pressure laminate and PET. That matters more than the style label: Broadway is a laminate door and Milano is a PET door, so neither takes a stain or a repaint the way a birch shaker does.
Luxor (Luxor collection)
Luxor is a 2 1/2 in wide shaker with a partial overlay and a 1/2 in reveal between doors, so the face frame stays visible. CNC lists it with dovetail drawer boxes, a slab drawer front and epoxy-coated steel under-mount glides.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |

| L02 | Smoky Grey |
| L03 | Misty Grey |
| L05 | Harvest |

Country Oak (Country collection)
Country Oak is a solid oak raised panel. The interior carries a light wood finish and the exterior a warm honey tint. It is the only solid oak door we stock from CNC.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| C4 | Honey |
Richmond (Concord collection)
Richmond is a mitered flat panel door with an accent molding around the center panel. The two base finishes are a white paint and a warm light grey stain; the 100-series codes are the Plus line.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |

| 110 | Black |
| RB10 | White |
| RB23 | Stone |
Park Ave (Concord collection)
Park Ave is a five-piece mitered raised panel with a full overlay. It is the most traditional profile in the Concord collection and the smallest finish range we carry, at two colors.
Fashion (Concord collection)
Fashion is a 3 in wide step shaker. The accent molding wraps the flat center panel, which is what separates it visually from Elegant at the same width.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |

Elegant (Concord collection)
Elegant is a 3 in wide shaker with wide rails and a full overlay. CNC offers 14 finishes on it, the widest range of any Concord door.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |

| EB23 | Stone |
| EB27 | Ocean |
Newport (Concord collection)
Newport is a slim shaker built on a 3/4 in birch frame with a veneered flat center panel. It is a five-piece solid wood door, not a one-piece slab, and the thin frame is what gives it the minimalist line.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |
| 102 | Linen |
| 103 | Sahara |
| 104 | Mountain Stream |
| 105 | Adirondack Blue |

| 109 | Cracked Pepper |
| 110 | Black |
| 200 | Ale |
| 201 | Bourbon |
| NB10 | White |
Sydney (Concord collection)
Sydney uses French mitered construction on a five-piece solid wood door with a veneered flat center panel, so the frame corners meet in a mitered joint rather than a butt joint.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |
| 102 | Linen |
| 103 | Sahara |
| 104 | Mountain Stream |
| 105 | Adirondack Blue |

| 108 | Rumors |
| 109 | Cracked Pepper |
| 110 | Black |
| 200 | Ale |
| 201 | Bourbon |
| SB10 | White |
Broadway (Classic collection)
Broadway is a textured laminate slab on a frameless box. It reads as wood grain without the maintenance of a wood door, and the finish range is its own, with no overlap with the 100-series codes.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| BM600 | Cotton |
| BM602 | Nimbus |
| BM603 | Cobalt |
| BM604 | Graphite |
| BM650 | Almond |
| BM651 | Chestnut |
| BM652 | Walnut |
| BM653 | Coastal |
| BM654 | Driftwood |
| BM655 | Beach |
| BM656 | Silver |
Versailles (Classic collection)
Versailles is a slim shaker on a frameless box, with a 3/4 in birch frame and a veneered center panel. It is the frameless counterpart to Newport.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |
| 102 | Linen |
| 103 | Sahara |
| 104 | Mountain Stream |
| 105 | Adirondack Blue |
| 106 | Sage |
| 107 | Evergreen |
| 108 | Rumors |
| 109 | Cracked Pepper |
| 110 | Black |
| 200 | Ale |
| 201 | Bourbon |
| V10 | White |
Highland (Classic collection)
Highland reverses the shaker profile. The 3/4 in frame is recessed rather than raised, which gives a flat face with a shadow line instead of a stepped edge.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen |
|---|---|
| 101 | Sleek White |
| 102 | Linen |
| 103 | Sahara |
| 104 | Mountain Stream |
| 105 | Adirondack Blue |
| 106 | Sage |
| 107 | Evergreen |
| 108 | Rumors |
| 109 | Cracked Pepper |
| 110 | Black |
| HB10 | White |
Milano (Classic collection)
Milano is a PET slab on a frameless box, offered in four high-gloss, matte and textured groups. The gloss finishes wipe clean, which is why CNC also places this door in laundry and utility rooms.
| Code | Finish at Aqua Kitchen | Surface |
|---|---|---|
| MP400 | Polar White | High gloss |
| MP401 | Fossil Grey | High gloss |
| MP402 | Sand | Matte |
| MP403 | Seaside | Matte |
| MP404 | Pine | Matte |
| MP405 | Snow | Matte |
| MP406 | Sunset | Matte |
| MP407 | Obsidian | Matte |
| MP450 | Mirage | Textured |
| MP451 | Dune | Textured |
| MP452 | Autumn | Textured |
| MP453 | Ash | Textured |
Alvic decorative panels
Alvic sits inside the Classic collection as a panel program rather than a door style. You choose the surface, and CNC applies it to the cabinet fronts. The three lines differ by how the surface is made, and each one behaves differently in use.
| Line | Surface | Finishes at CNC | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxe | Lacquered high gloss with a mirror effect | 33 | Kitchens and bathrooms where a reflective front is the point |
| Zenit | Super-matte lacquer, with or without metallic particles | 23 | Contemporary flat-front kitchens that should not reflect |
| Syncron | Thermo-fused melamine with registered textures | 47 | Wood grain, stone, marble, textile, leather, concrete and oxide looks |
CNC describes Luxe as having the highest scratch resistance in its range and Zenit as having extraordinary abrasion resistance. Syncron is the only one of the three that is a melamine board rather than a lacquered surface, which is why it carries the texture options.
Drawer boxes and glides by collection
| Collection | Drawer box | Glide |
|---|---|---|
| Luxor | 5/8 in solid wood dovetail sides, 3/8 in bottom | Epoxy-coated steel under-mount |
| Concord | 3/4 in solid wood, dovetail construction | Stainless steel full-extension under-mount, soft close |
| Classic | White Satin box: double white wall metal drawer with a 1/2 in plywood bottom. Maple box: 3/4 in solid wood dovetail | Soft-close glides |
On Classic, the interior you pick decides the drawer. White Satin gives you a metal drawer sidewall. Maple gives you a dovetailed wood box. The door and the price list position stay the same.
What we stock and what we do not
Our CNC range is 123 listings: 118 distinct door and finish combinations across 12 door styles, plus the three Alvic panel lines. Five factory finishes in the lines we carry are not in the showroom range today.
| Door | Finish not stocked | Code |
|---|---|---|
| Elegant | Smoky Grey | EB02 |
| Newport | Wheat | 202 |
| Sydney | Wheat | 202 |
| Versailles | Wheat | 202 |
| Broadway | Silk | BM601 |
We can order all five through CNC even though they are not on the site, and the same applies to Glencove, Dover and Woodbourne.
CNC warranty terms worth reading before you buy
CNC provides a limited lifetime warranty on Luxor, Concord and Classic cabinetry and vanities. The limits are specific, and several of them catch buyers out.
- It covers the original residential purchaser only, in a primary or secondary home. Rental property is excluded, and so are landlords, leasing companies and other commercial purchasers.
- It is not transferable. It does not extend to a future owner if you sell the house.
- It covers replacement of defective parts only. Service, labor and transportation for removing or installing the part are not included.
- It excludes outdoor installations, improper storage, humid environments, improper temperatures, flood and fire damage, normal wear and tear, and improper installation, maintenance or cleaning.
- Countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, decorative hardware and lighting used with the cabinets are outside it.
- If a style has been discontinued when a claim is filed, CNC may substitute a same or similar style and does not guarantee an exact match.
- A dated sales receipt is required, and the claim starts with the authorized dealer who sold the kitchen.
CNC also publishes a humidity note with the warranty: stable temperature and humidity matter because wood expands and contracts, and mitered doors show it first. Richmond, Sydney and Park Ave are the mitered profiles we carry.
The warranty document names Luxor, Concord and Classic. It does not name the Country collection, so if you are quoting Country Oak, ask the dealer to confirm in writing which warranty applies.
What a CNC kitchen costs, and how to compare two quotes
CNC does not publish retail prices. Dealers price the same cabinets differently, so the only way to compare is to put both quotes on the same footprint. The industry reference is the 10 by 10 kitchen: roughly 10 linear feet of cabinetry on two walls, with base cabinets, wall cabinets, a sink base and a corner unit. Our 10 x 10 Kitchen Value Package is priced at $4,999 on that footprint, and the final order is adjusted up or down once we measure your real layout.
Four things move a CNC number, and a quote that does not state them cannot be compared:
- Collection. A frameless Classic box and a face-frame Concord box are different products, not finishes of the same product.
- Base line or Plus line. BLUM hinges and applied finished ends sit on the Plus codes. Check for a 100-series or 200-series code.
- Cabinet count and sizes. The 10 by 10 figure is a comparison tool, not an order. Your kitchen will need more or fewer boxes.
- Modifications and accessories. Depth and height changes, finished panels, molding and interior storage are priced separately from the boxes.
Our financing options and a measured quote from our free 3D design service make that comparison easier to run on paper before anything is ordered.
Pairing CNC cabinets with a countertop
We fabricate the countertop in our own shop, so the cabinet choice and the stone choice get made in the same visit. A few pairings come up constantly in North Jersey kitchens.
- White and off-white shakers such as Richmond White, Fashion Sleek White or Versailles Linen read well against veined quartz. See marble-look quartz and white quartz countertops.
- Dark doors such as Highland Black or Sydney Cracked Pepper usually need a lighter top. Our light countertop range and the guide to black quartz countertops cover both directions.
- Stained doors such as Newport Bourbon or Broadway Chestnut sit closer to granite than to a flat white quartz. Start with colors that complement granite and granite countertop colors.
- High-gloss Alvic and Milano fronts pair with the quieter quartz patterns. Compare Cambria, MSI, Caesarstone and Silestone.
Once the pairing is decided, the edge profile and the backsplash are the last two decisions. If you are still choosing a material, read how to choose a countertop material or quartz against granite, and browse all countertops or the installed-price deals.
Planning the wider project is a separate exercise. Our notes on 10x10 remodeling cost, remodeling on a budget, cabinet colors, shaker cabinets, small kitchen cabinets, brown cabinets, black cabinets and the order of a remodel cover the sequence. Our fabrication shop, installation team, full service list, background and customer reviews explain how we work. The rest of the cabinet range sits in kitchen cabinets.
Frequently asked questions about CNC Cabinetry
Are CNC cabinets good quality?
Judge it by collection, because the specification changes between them. Concord and Luxor use a kiln-dried solid hardwood face frame, plywood sides and plywood shelves, and Concord adds a dado interlocking system between frame and sides. Classic drops the face frame and uses 3/4 in plywood sides joined with glued and clamped wood dowels. Every collection ships with concealed six-way adjustable soft-close hinges and fully adjustable 3/4 in plywood shelves, so hinge and shelf quality do not vary. The clearest step up inside a line is the Plus program, which swaps in BLUM hinges.
Who owns CNC Cabinetry?
CNC Cabinetry Inc. is family-owned and family-operated. The company describes itself as starting in the founder’s parents’ garage and growing into a nationwide business with multiple locations over about 30 years. CNC does not publish the owner’s name on its site.
What does CNC mean in cabinetry?
The phrase has two meanings and they get confused. CNC Cabinetry is a brand name, the manufacturer based in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Separately, CNC machining means computer numerical control, the automated cutting equipment most cabinet shops use. A quote that says CNC Cabinetry refers to the brand; a shop that says it cuts on a CNC is describing its machinery.
Where are CNC cabinets made?
CNC Cabinetry is headquartered at 101 Kentile Road in South Plainfield, New Jersey, and operates from multiple locations. The company states that it was the first in its market to import quality cabinets from Asia, so manufacturing is not exclusively domestic. Ask your dealer where a specific collection is produced if origin matters to your project.
How much do CNC cabinets cost?
CNC sets no published retail price and each dealer prices independently. Compare quotes on a 10 by 10 footprint, which is the industry reference layout. Our packaged 10 by 10 kitchen is $4,999 and is adjusted once your real layout is measured. The collection, the base or Plus line, the cabinet count and any modifications are what move the final number.
Are CNC cabinets all plywood?
The boxes are plywood based. Luxor, Country and Concord use 1/2 in plywood sides and backs with 3/4 in plywood shelves; Classic uses 3/4 in plywood sides. The doors are a separate question. Newport, Sydney, Versailles and Highland use birch frames with veneered center panels, Country Oak is solid oak, Broadway is a textured laminate slab and Milano is a PET slab.
What is the CNC Plus line?
Plus is a second specification offered on Richmond, Fashion, Elegant, Newport, Sydney, Versailles and Woodbourne. It carries the 101 to 110 paint codes and the 200 to 202 stain codes, upgrades the hinges to BLUM soft close, and changes the sides from 1/2 in plywood with a veneer interior to 1/4 in applied finished ends. The finish code on a quote is how you tell which line you are getting.
Does CNC Cabinetry have a lifetime warranty?
Yes, a limited lifetime warranty on Luxor, Concord and Classic cabinetry and vanities, for the original residential purchaser only. It is not transferable, excludes rental and commercial use, and covers parts only, not labor or transportation. Claims go through the dealer and need a dated sales receipt.

Finish codes and spec sheets only take you so far. A white paint in a photograph and the same door under your kitchen lighting are two different colors, and the gap between a mitered Richmond and a step-shaker Fashion is easier to see at arm’s length than on a screen.
