Versailles Ale is the warm tan/wheat side of CNC's Versailles slim-Shaker family — a soft beige with golden undertones that reads more refined than a typical honey stain. It's the Versailles color most often spec'd for kitchens that want warmth without going to a stained wood finish.
The slim-profile Shaker door , narrower frame, larger panel , carries the Ale finish in a low-sheen topcoat. The result is a cabinet that reads warmer than most painted lines but doesn't pull yellow or orange the way a true honey stain can.
Transitional kitchens that lean traditional, primary bath vanities where the warm cabinet softens a cool stone counter, and full-kitchen runs in homes with hardwood flooring. Also works as the color of a coffee bar or breakfast nook adjacent to a different kitchen palette.
Antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, and aged pewter all play well with Ale; brushed brass works for a more contemporary read. Stone counters with cream, gold, or soft brown veining hold up; cold gray surfaces can fight the cabinet's warmth.
Verify the finish under your kitchen's actual lighting before ordering , warm-beige paints shift more toward yellow or orange under different bulb temperatures than cool colors do.
