Sydney Adirondack Blue is the deep-blue side of CNC's Sydney transitional line — a saturated, slightly grayed navy on a slab-leaning recessed door. The Sydney door reads cleaner and more architectural than a standard Shaker, which is why it works in modern transitional and coastal-modern kitchens where Shaker would feel too traditional.
The Sydney door is a slim-profile recessed panel with a tight inside reveal and a slab-style outer face. Finished in Adirondack Blue, the cabinet reads almost flat from across the room but carries the door's shadow lines under task lighting. The build is plywood box, solid-wood face frame, and full overlay.
Strong island choice paired with white or cream perimeter cabinets; full-lower-run color in coastal-modern kitchens; primary bath vanities in homes that lean transitional. The depth of the blue gives the room real visual weight, so it works best when the rest of the kitchen carries lighter tones.
Brushed brass, unlacquered brass, and warm bronze all sharpen Adirondack Blue. White quartz, marble, and quartzite counters work; gray quartz can drag the room toward a cooler temperature than the blue intends.
Pull a door sample and view it under your task and ambient lighting before placing the order. Saturated blues can read black under low-bulb-count rooms.
