Oversee custom kitchen countertop and cabinet company’s operations; formulate
operational policies; coordinate daily operations to ensure quality compliance, cost
effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Identify problem areas to offer solutions in order
to improve operational efficiencies; prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties;
provide encouragement to the team; ensure safe work environment; and communicate
management directives to staff to ensure compliance. Increase financial and operational
efficiency by developing and implementing budgets and setting financial goals and sales
strategies.

Plan layout or design of kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops with knowledge of cabinet, fixture, appliance, plumbing, and electrical solutions. Create designs, and concepts, based on knowledge of layout principles, esthetic design concepts, and client expectations. Review final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and select style and size of type. Sketch preliminary design plans by using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Research and explore the use of new materials, technologies, and products to incorporate into designs.
