Newport Linen is the warm-cream Shaker in CNC's Newport line — a soft off-white with a slight cream warmth, on the line's classic five-piece Shaker door. It's the Newport color most often spec'd for traditional and farmhouse kitchens where pure white feels too sharp.
Newport runs the company's standard Shaker door , solid wood, five-piece, full overlay , over a plywood box with a finished interior. Linen carries the door in a soft cream paint with a low-sheen topcoat, sitting between a true white and an antique cream.
Farmhouse and traditional whole-kitchen builds, primary bath vanities in older homes, and as the perimeter color in two-tone kitchens with a darker stained or painted island. The cream warmth makes Linen pair naturally with hardwood flooring and warm-veined stone.
Unlacquered brass, antique brass, and oil-rubbed bronze read sharp against Linen; chrome works but feels cooler than the cabinet color suggests. For counters, marble, marble-look quartz, and warm-toned granite all hold up.
Cream paints shift more under bulb-color changes than people expect , order a door sample and review it under both 2700K and 4000K lighting before placing the kitchen order.
