The Richmond Linen door is CNC Cabinetry's mitered flat-panel cabinet with applied accent molding, finished in a soft warm-cream linen tone. The combination of mitered construction and accent molding gives the door more architectural detail than typical Shaker silhouettes deliver.
Most kitchen cabinets simplify to one or the other: a Shaker frame with no molding, or a raised-panel door with built-in profile. The Richmond combines mitered corners (which wrap the painted face around the perimeter without a visible end-grain seam) with a separate accent molding inside the frame, adding three architectural layers to the door surface. On a soft linen finish, that detail keeps the door from reading flat and gives the kitchen a quietly tailored character.
Richmond Linen carries transitional kitchens that want soft warmth with architectural detail, primary bath vanities, and homes with cream-painted millwork or warm wood floors that should coordinate with the cabinetry. It pairs comfortably with marble-look quartz with warm veining, leathered granite, unlacquered brass or warm nickel hardware, and oak or walnut flooring. Polished chrome can read cold against the warm cream tone.
The accent molding catches paint slightly differently than the surrounding flat panel, which adds shadow detail in person that a flat photo cannot capture. Pull a door sample and view it under raking light in your kitchen, where the molding shadow becomes most visible. The mitered corners also read better in person than in photos, so the sample shows real construction quality before you commit.
