Sono Mira is Pental Quartz's marble-look quartz with a dove-gray base and delicate veining flowing across the slab. The dove-gray field distinguishes Sono Mira from typical white-base marble-look quartzes, giving the slab a quieter, more grounded read that suits transitional kitchens leaning sophisticated.
Most marble-look quartzes use white as the field color, with veining as the design detail. Sono Mira inverts that approach with a dove-gray base where the lighter veining becomes the contrasting element. The result reads more grounded and architectural than white-base alternatives, especially in kitchens with lighter cabinetry where a white counter would read uniform with the cabinets and lose visual hierarchy.
Sono Mira carries transitional kitchens with painted white or cream cabinetry where the gray counter creates clear visual hierarchy, primary bath vanities, and waterfall islands where the dove-gray base can flow visibly across the corner. It pairs especially well with painted white or cream cabinetry, brushed brass or polished nickel hardware, and oak or walnut flooring. The cool dove-gray base also reads especially well under cool LED, where the tonal palette stays clean.
Dove-gray base quartzes show their character better at full-slab scale than at sample-card size, where the field color dominates and the delicate veining can read less prominent. Once a sample looks right in your space, request a slab viewing at the fabrication shop before final cut. The way the lighter veining lands against the dove-gray base on your specific slab is what determines how the counter reads.
