Onyx Stone is the soft cool-gray finish on Fabuwood's Onyx Shaker door, part of the Allure line. The gray sits in the cooler range of the line's neutrals, with enough pigment to read intentional but soft enough to function as a near-neutral in modern kitchens.
Most painted gray kitchens lean warmer to bridge with wood floors and traditional architecture. Onyx Stone takes the opposite approach with a true cool-leaning gray, which makes it a stronger fit for fully modern kitchens where the cabinetry should read sharp rather than soft. The Onyx Shaker door brings clean recessed-panel geometry, and the painted MDF substrate holds the cool-gray finish smooth across long cabinet runs.
Onyx Stone carries fully modern kitchens, condo and apartment remodels with European design language, primary bath vanities meant to read sharp, and accent islands paired against a white-perimeter run. It pairs cleanly with white quartz with subtle veining, polished nickel or matte black hardware, and white oak or maple flooring. Brass can work but should be brushed rather than polished to keep from clashing with the cool gray.
Cool grays drift more visibly under warm LED than under daylight, sometimes reading slightly more taupe than expected. Order a door sample and view it on your counter under your kitchen's actual evening lighting before locking in the order. That single check is the most reliable way to confirm the gray reads the way you want it to in your specific lighting.
