The Minera quartz sample shows the Cambria slab in a 4-inch finished tile — full polish, true edge, and an honest read of the surface's color and movement. It's the simplest way to confirm a slab choice before committing to template and fabrication.
Minera reads as a warm gray-cream base with subtle veining that crosses the slab in soft bands rather than dramatic streaks. The sample carries enough surface area to show how the veining repeats and how the polish handles lighting at different angles, which is where most slab-selection questions get answered.
Quartz photography compresses tone and softens veining. Holding the actual sample under your kitchen lighting at two times of day catches issues a screen image hides , slight green or pink undertones, vein density at edge profiles, and gloss interaction with task lighting all read truer in person.
Lay the tile against your cabinet door sample and floor swatch under both daylight and your evening kitchen lighting. Check edge color carefully if you're spec'ing a mitered or eased edge profile , the polish reflects light differently at the edge than at the face.
Once the sample reads right under both lighting conditions, request a slab viewing at the local distributor before fabrication so you can pick the actual slab the counter will be cut from.
