Kenna in Whitecap Black Glaze pairs Kitchen Craft's coolest white painted base with a black glaze, hand-rubbed into the door's profiled edge. The contrast is dramatic: a near-pure white face with bold black definition along the panel reveal and inner edge, built for traditional kitchens that want strong painted-and-glazed character.
Whitecap is one of the brightest whites in the Kitchen Craft painted catalog, sealed before the glaze step. Black glaze is brushed and wiped across each door so the dark pigment settles into every recess and reveal. The result is the cleanest version of the painted-glazed traditional look.
Traditional and country-French kitchens, designer baths with marble counters and chrome plumbing, and homes with darker wood floors that benefit from a high-contrast cabinet face. The black glaze also supports brushed nickel, polished chrome, and oil-rubbed bronze hardware without color clash.
Wipe with damp microfiber and mild soap. Skip ammonia, citrus, and abrasive pads, which can lift the glaze layer. The hand-finish process produces door-to-door variation by design — adjacent panels will not match the glaze pooling pattern exactly, and that variation is part of the look rather than a flaw.
Order a sample door before specifying a full kitchen so you can confirm the contrast under your actual lighting; black glaze can read sharper in cool LED bulbs than under warm incandescent.
