Kenna in Alabaster Pewter Glaze pairs Kitchen Craft's warm off-white base with a cooler pewter glaze, hand-applied into the door profile. The pewter sits in the cool-neutral family — visible enough to define the door's lines, restrained enough to keep the kitchen reading as a soft white rather than a contrasted glazed cabinet.
The Alabaster painted base is sealed before the glaze step. Pewter glaze is brushed across the face and wiped back, leaving subtle definition in the panel recess and along the profiled inner edge. Conversion varnish over the top locks in the finish for kitchen use.
Transitional kitchens, primary baths with marble counters, and lake-house or coastal-leaning designs where a warm white needs a cool counterbalance. Pewter glaze pairs well with polished or brushed nickel hardware and with marble or honed quartzite tops.
Clean with damp microfiber and gentle dish soap; avoid abrasives and ammonia, which strip the glaze layer over time. The hand-applied glaze produces door-to-door variation that is part of the finish , adjacent panels will not match the pooling pattern exactly.
Pewter glaze reads cooler under daylight LED bulbs and warmer under incandescent , sample a door under the actual lighting in the kitchen before placing the full order to avoid a surprise.
