The Cambrian Gold Quartz Sample is a 4-inch swatch of Cambria's Cambrian Gold design — a warm-toned quartz with a deep amber-gold base and rich brown vein clusters that read like aged onyx or Italian travertine. The swatch lets you check the saturated warm tone in your specific kitchen lighting before ordering a full slab.
Cambrian Gold is one of the more deeply pigmented warm designs in the line. The base is a rich amber-honey with golden-brown depth, broken by darker brown vein clusters that gather and disperse irregularly across the slab. Under 2700K bulbs the warmth deepens dramatically; under 4000K daylight it lightens but stays distinctly warm-toned. There's no neutral-leaning version of this design.
Old World, Tuscan, Mediterranean-leaning, and warm-traditional kitchens where the counter is meant to anchor a saturated warm palette. Pairs cleanly with travertine flooring, exposed wood beams, terracotta tile, and painted off-white or cream cabinetry. The depth of warmth makes it unsuitable for modern cool-grey palettes . The design simply doesn't work in those rooms.
Antique brass, unlacquered brass, and oil-rubbed bronze hardware are native to this design. Walnut frameless, painted off-white Shaker, and stained cherry cabinetry all complement the warmth. Skip cool grey cabinets, charcoal painted finishes, and polished chrome hardware , none of them resolve against the deep amber base.
Walk a full slab at a Cambria distributor before fabrication. Saturated warm designs vary slab to slab in vein density, and full-scale review with the fabricator helps plan seam placement so the rich pattern flows continuously.
