5131 Calacatta Nuvo is one of Caesarstone's signature marble-look quartz designs — a clean white base with refined grey-taupe veining that captures the iconic Italian Calacatta marble look in a non-porous engineered surface. The design has been one of the brand's most-spec'd Calacatta interpretations for years.
Calacatta Nuvo threads a careful design middle path: enough vein contrast to read clearly as Calacatta-style, soft enough flow to suit a wide range of cabinet pairings. The base reads bright white with subtle warm cast, and the vein scale is medium-to-large with broken edges and translucent quality. The result is a slab that reads as authentic marble interpretation rather than engineered uniformity.
Refined transitional kitchens, primary residences where the cabinetry plays support to a feature counter, formal dining-adjacent spaces, and homes where the counter is meant to be a primary design element. Calacatta Nuvo works especially well on islands and full-height splashes where the vein pattern can run continuously.
The clean white base pairs cleanly with painted white Shaker, soft greige slab, walnut frameless, painted blues and greens, and natural oak. Hardware in any finish works without color clash; brass tones echo the warm undertone in the veining, while brushed nickel keeps the look classical.
Calacatta-style veined whites shift between bulb temperatures. Order a swatch and view it under three lighting conditions before committing. Walk a full slab at a distributor before fabrication for vein layout planning at any seams in the run.
Vein-matched seaming is worth the extra fabrication time on a defined-pattern slab where vein flow continuity matters for the finished aesthetic.
