Oxford Pastel is the soft pale gray finish on Cubitac's Oxford door, part of the Basic line. The Oxford door uses an inset center panel within a clean frame, which gives the door a refined edge that reads more architectural than a standard flat Shaker.
An inset center panel sits a step inside the frame rather than flush with it. The result is an extra shadow line around the panel, which adds visual depth without the bulk of a raised panel. On a soft pale gray, that extra shadow keeps the door from reading flat, especially in long runs and on tall pantry units where flat surfaces tend to dominate.
Oxford Pastel carries transitional kitchens, primary bath vanities, and laundry rooms where the cabinetry should read soft and current rather than stark or trend-driven. It pairs cleanly with marble-look quartz, white oak flooring, and either polished nickel, brushed nickel, or matte black hardware. In open-concept layouts, the pale gray reads consistent with adjacent living rooms in a way a saturated color would not.
Pale grays carry the smallest pigment load of any painted cabinet finish, which means they shift the most under different LED color temperatures. Order a door sample and view it under your specific kitchen fixtures, both at midday and in the evening, before locking the order. Looking at it on your actual counter is the only reliable preview.
