Montclair Cashmere is the soft dove-cream finish on Cubitac's Montclair door, part of the Imperial line. The Montclair uses a slim Shaker frame around a reverse raised center panel, an unusual combination that gives the door a refined, almost couture read.
A slim Shaker frame keeps the door looking modern, with a tighter, more architectural reveal than a standard Shaker. A reverse raised center panel adds a subtle step up rather than a step down, which catches light differently than either a flat or a traditional raised panel. Built on oak, the door brings the warmth of real wood under the painted finish, with the grain showing softly in the right light.
Montclair Cashmere suits transitional kitchens where the cabinetry is meant to be the design moment, primary bath vanities, and homes where the kitchen flows into a formal living space. It pairs cleanly with marble-look quartz, unlacquered brass or warm nickel hardware, and white oak or walnut flooring. The dove-cream tone bridges between cooler and warmer palettes without forcing the design either way.
The reverse raised panel and the slim frame both catch the painted finish differently than flat surfaces, so the door reads more dimensional in person than on a flat sample card. Pull a sample door before locking in the order, and view it under your kitchen's actual fixtures to confirm the dove-cream reads the way you expect.
