The Mayfair Quartz Sample from Cambria is a chip preview of the Mayfair design, with a sedate white-cream background carrying soft splashes of pale blue, navy, and gray, accented by tan and taupe particles throughout. The mixed palette gives Mayfair more visual complexity than most marble-look quartzes.
Most quartz designs commit to a single palette: cool whites with gray veining, warm whites with gold veining, or solid colors with subtle particulate. Mayfair takes a more complex approach, layering multiple colors across the field so the slab reads with subtle depth from any angle. The mix of pale blues, navy, and warm tan particles makes it a flexible counter for kitchens that need to bridge cool and warm palettes.
Mayfair carries kitchens that pair white cabinetry with a strong color accent, like a navy island or warm wood island in a white-perimeter layout. The pale blues in the slab tie to a navy island; the tan particles pull through wood-toned cabinets. It also suits primary bath vanities where the multi-color palette can support a layered design with mixed metal finishes.
Multi-color quartzes show more slab-to-slab variation than single-palette designs because the distribution of each color element shifts across runs. Request a slab viewing at the fabrication shop before final cut, and walk through the slab map with the fabricator. The visual weight of the splashes will land in different places on different slabs, and where it lands matters in a long kitchen run.
