Kenna in Daybreak is a soft cream painted finish from Kitchen Craft's Kenna door style, applied flat without glaze. It's a warmer alternative to the brand's true whites — useful when the design needs a painted cabinet that reads inviting and lived-in rather than crisp and contemporary.
Daybreak sits in the soft cream family , warmer than Alabaster, less yellow than a true antique-white. The Kenna door style features a raised inner panel with a profiled inner edge, so even a flat painted finish like Daybreak reads as a layered cabinet face rather than a single solid plane. Conversion varnish seals the surface for daily use.
Traditional and farmhouse kitchens, primary baths with warm-toned tile, homes that lean toward cream-and-stained-wood combinations rather than gray-and-white, and projects where a cool white would feel too clinical against the existing flooring or wall colors. Pair with brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, or polished brass hardware.
Wipe with damp microfiber and mild dish soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads, which can dull the varnish topcoat. Touch-up paint is available for small chips; the painted finish is straightforward to repair compared to glazed variants.
Cream colors read very differently under different bulb temperatures. Sample a door under both daylight and evening lighting to confirm the warmth holds against your other room finishes before placing the full order.
