Kenna in Alabaster Mocha Glaze takes Kitchen Craft's warm off-white painted base and overlays it with a brown mocha glaze, hand-rubbed into the door profile. The mocha sits darker and warmer than the smoke variant, giving the cabinets a French country or warm-traditional feel rather than a cool antique read.
The Alabaster base is sealed first, then mocha glaze is brushed and wiped across each door. The glaze remains visible in the recess of the raised panel and along the profiled edge, giving the door definition. The contrast is moderate — visible but not dramatic , which is what makes mocha glaze a long-running specifier favorite.
Warm traditional kitchens, French country and Tuscan-leaning designs, and homes with travertine or warm-tone tile floors. The mocha glaze pairs cleanly with oil-rubbed bronze hardware and warm metal pendants, and with granite or warm-tone quartz countertops.
Wipe with a damp microfiber and a non-abrasive cleaner. Skip citrus solvents and abrasive scrubs which can lift the glaze. Re-finishing or touch-up of glazed doors is more involved than a flat painted door , keep a touch-up kit on hand for small chips.
Sample door first; mocha glaze reads warmer under incandescent and cooler under daylight LEDs, and the difference can change the entire kitchen palette.
