The Carrick quartz sample provides a finished tile-format swatch of Cambria's Carrick slab — full polish, accurate color, true vein density. It's the practical reference designers and homeowners rely on to lock in a slab choice before fabrication.
Carrick reads as a clean white base with strong, defined gray veining that crosses the surface in a marble-mimicking pattern. The contrast between vein and base is higher than most of the line's softer-veined stones, which lets the counter act as a visual element in the room rather than a quiet backdrop.
High-contrast veined quartz is the format where photography fails most often. Image compression flattens vein darkness, screens shift the white toward gray, and the gloss-on-vein interaction is impossible to read on a phone. A sample answers all of that under your own light.
Lay against cabinet, floor, and backsplash samples. View under both 2700K and 4000K bulbs. Check vein-to-base contrast at arm's length and at across-the-room distance.
After the sample passes the pairing test, ask the local distributor to set aside specific slabs for viewing. Marble-look quartz varies more slab to slab than any other format, and the slab choice is part of the design decision.
