Cala Blue is from Silestone's Sunlit Days collection — a soft chalky blue quartz inspired by Mediterranean coves. The color sits in the dusty-blue family rather than the vivid-blue or navy categories, which makes it specifiable as an accent counter in mainstream kitchen and bath designs.
Cala Blue's tone reads closer to a warm-leaning powder blue than a saturated cobalt or navy. The surface is a fine uniform field , subtle particle visible up close, solid-reading from a distance. That restraint is what makes the color usable: it feels like a grounded design choice rather than a temporary trend.
Coastal homes, bathroom vanity tops, butler's pantries, mudroom and laundry counters, and kitchen islands paired against a white or natural-wood perimeter. Cala Blue also performs well in primary baths designed around white or off-white tile.
Wipe with a damp microfiber and mild soap. Skip bleach and abrasive cleaners on any quartz surface. The color reads slightly warmer under incandescent than under daylight LED , sample under your actual lighting before committing the full slab.
If pairing with white cabinetry, hold the chip against your selected white finish. Warm whites flatter Cala Blue more than stark cool whites, which can make the blue read flat.
