Alabaster White is MSI Surfaces' polished marble-look quartz, with a soft white background and gentle gray veining flowing across the field. The slab delivers the visual softness of natural marble at a price point closer to mid-range engineered quartzes, which is why it has become a default spec on transitional kitchen builds.
Marble-look quartzes go in and out of trend cycles, but Alabaster White has stayed in the spec rotation because it pairs with almost any cabinet color and almost any hardware finish. The gray veining is soft enough to coordinate with cool palettes and warm enough to bridge into cream cabinetry, which makes it a low-risk pick for projects that need to appeal across many buyers.
Alabaster White carries transitional and contemporary kitchens, primary bath vanities, hospitality and multifamily specs that need a neutral counter palette across many units, and rental upgrades where the kitchen should read current for the next decade. It pairs comfortably with painted white, gray, or wood-toned cabinetry, and works under either chrome, brushed nickel, brushed brass, or matte black hardware.
Veining placement varies across slabs by design. View the actual slabs at the fabrication shop before final cut, especially if you have a long run, an island, or a waterfall end where the veining needs to flow continuously across the corner. The slab you select is what gets cut, so a few minutes of viewing saves a lot of post-install regret.
