Caesarstone 4601 Frozen Terra is a neutral-field quartz with irregular black basalt flecks and translucent gray inclusions scattered across the slab. The pattern reads more like a natural terrazzo than a marble-look quartz, with discrete pieces of contrasting material rather than continuous veining.
Most engineered quartzes mimic either solid stones or veined marbles. Frozen Terra takes a different angle, scattering distinct pieces of black basalt and translucent gray across a neutral field. The result is closer to a high-end terrazzo, which gives the kitchen a more contemporary read than a traditional marble-look slab while still bringing real visual texture.
Frozen Terra carries contemporary and modern kitchens, primary bath vanities, and waterfall island ends where the terrazzo-like pattern can flow across the corner. It pairs comfortably with painted white, soft gray, or wood-toned cabinetry, brushed brass or matte black hardware, and oak or walnut flooring. The pattern reads especially well in kitchens with strong natural light, where the basalt flecks catch the daylight and add subtle movement.
Terrazzo-style patterns vary visibly between slabs because the fleck distribution is irregular by design. Two slabs from the same batch can have noticeably different pattern density. View the actual slabs that will be cut for your kitchen at the fabrication shop, and pick the one that reads the way you want before the saw runs. That single check is the most reliable way to land where you expect.
