Know Your Budget

Not all granite is created equal, and there’s a stark price difference between slabs as a result. While one may fit your budget neatly, you may find that another style is just too expensive for your project. We’ll provide you with more information about the different levels so that you can choose a style that’s right for you.
Bring Samples with You
First and foremost, it’s important for you to bring samples with you when looking for granite. This includes the cabinets, floor, and wall color. Most companies in New Jersey will be able to provide you with a door sample, so this is actually pretty easy. Taking a picture won’t quite work because cameras can have slight differences in coloring, and you want to be sure that the final selection looks perfect. We’ve worked on all types of kitchens in Wayne and North Caldwell, and we’re looking forward to improving your space.
Cabinets First, Then Measurements

We can take a measurement of your new counters of the plans, but this is strictly for the initial pricing. Unfortunately, we cannot do the final measurements of your kitchen until the new cabinets are in place and secured. This means that you’re going to have to go a little while without any countertops at all. However, it’s the only way that we can ensure that our measurements are exact. We’ll also double-check the cabinet installation to be sure that they’re level and ready to support the heavy granite.
Before the Granite Countertop Installation
We want you to love how the new counters look, so you’ll get to have some input into the final layout. This is important because granite features such amazing patterns and unique colorations. After the final measurement, you’ll be able to decide which area of the slab should be cut for your island or other key features. We’ll guide you to minimize waste and ensure an attractive flow, but we want you to have some involvement in this part of the process.
We’ll also take a look at your sink for a pattern. We’ll ask you where the faucet should go, the access for your sprayer and any built-in soap dishes. We’ll take care of cutting those holes for you to ensure that the edges are smooth and clean.
The Big Day
We do a great deal of preparation work, so your actual installation day should run smoothly. Our technicians will arrive with the slabs ready to go, and they’ll carry everything in. We’ll secure the counters in place, minimize any seams and give the entire surface a protective coating. The entire process shouldn’t take more than a few hours. When we walk out, your counters will be ready to use. We can also install your under counter or a traditional sink to ensure that everything is properly sealed and secured.
We take pride in our work, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your new counters. With our close attention to detail, you can trust that the new counters will be scribed closely to the wall and that larger sections will have flawless seams.
